FormerPresident Trump has stated hesitation about allocating government money to his native city of New York City if left-wing top contender Mamdani be elected this week's mayoral election.

"It's gonna be difficult for me as president to provide a lot of money to NYC, as when there's a leftist leading New York, the result is squandering the resources you're sending there," Donald Trump remarked during a broadcast discussion.
