Football Star Aaron Ramsey Ups Bounty for Lost Pet in Mexico to Fifteen Thousand Pounds
Wales soccer player Ramsey has raised the bounty for details concerning his lost dog Halo to $20,000.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, mentioned that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.
The beagle, who disappeared on 9 October, was had on a tracking device, and the footballer posted a Google maps location of her last known location.
"Any news regarding our pet Halo please get in touch with us. Big bounty for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and comes home with us quickly," the athlete wrote on Instagram.
Earlier Bounty and Heartfelt Pleas
The footballer first disclosed that Halo had vanished two weeks ago and has since shared multiple photos of the adored pet on Instagram.
A $ten thousand dollar incentive was first announced, but with lack of updates on Halo's location after a seven days, Ramsey and his family raised the amount.
"We just want Halo back," he expressed in a further plea on social media after the 10-year-old dog was lost.
The most recent picture upload is a monochrome snapshot of the beagle napping, its head lying in the bend of the athlete's arm, with the description: "How I wish to cuddle you once more Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
The footballer has additionally shared a message from his wife Colleen on online channels saying they have some "important queries" regarding the event and worry the family "may never receive clarity".
"We have yet to are still searching for our dog. It is unlikely we will ever," his wife's post stated.
The Welsh captain joined Mexico's first division club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the first high profile British Isles player to compete in the Mexican league.
